CliniKids is a not-for-profit centre integrating world-class research with a clinical service for children with developmental delay and/or an autism diagnosis, and their families. It is the first of its kind for autism in Australia.
One of the unique aspects of CliniKids is the integration of clinical services with cutting-edge research. Our exceptional team of researchers work in collaboration with our clinicians to give the community access to the world's best evidence-based therapies.
Welcome to Natalie and Linda who have joined the CliniKids team. The clinicians work between our Subiaco and Joondalup clinics.
Natalie is a Clinical Psychologist with over 12 years of experience working in the areas of child development and autism. She has worked at the Child Development Service as a clinician, autism assessor, supervisor and program trainer. Natalie has a passion for supporting children and families with autism and developmental delay by supporting attachment relationships and building parental responsiveness to understand the needs of the child. Natalie is experienced in delivering attachment-based interventions such as Circle of Security and video-feedback interventions, including iBASIS. Natalie is also a mother of 3 children and one Labrador, and loves seeking out new adentures with the family at the beach or in the bush.
Linda has worked as a 'Speechie' for the last 5.5 years, since completing her Honours degree in Speech Pathology at Edith Cowan University. Linda's experience lies in working with children and families with developmental delays and/or disabilities, and supporting them to build their capacity to work towards goals that are tailored and meaningful to them. Linda also has a passion in working with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse (CALD) families, being of a CALD family herself. Linda's parents are Lebanese, and Linda speaks Lebanese Arabic with them at home. Linda has started with CliniKids following her role at Wanslea, which included supporting families to access and understand the NDIS. In her spare time, Linda loves spending time with her family (especially her nieces and nephews), exercising, online shopping and drinking her morning coffee.
