Therapy Assistant and JASPER Practitioner
Storme has worked as a Therapy Assistant with children on the autism spectrum and their families for nearly eight years. With experience in delivering both individual and group therapy to meet speech and occupational therapy goals, as well as social and play skills. Storme has worked across both research and clinical services at CliniKids for the past two years. In 2022, Storme received her AOSI (Autism Observation Scale for Infants) fidelity and assesses infants in our CUBS (Communicating and Understanding your Baby) Study for signs of delayed social communication. Storme is also a qualified JASPER (Joint Attention, Symbolic Play, Engagement and Regulation) Practitioner and delivers JASPER, which is a play therapy targeting social communication, engagement and regulation in children with autism. Storme is also currently supporting the CliniSibs program which was developed to support siblings of children on the autism spectrum.
