- The website for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provides information on eligibility and access to the scheme, in addition to information on how to get an NDIS plan and what this will mean for participants.
- Kalparrin support families of children with additional needs and/or disability. They offer free membership, support to navigate the health and disability sectors, a range of free online resources and inclusive family events.
- Carers WA is a community based organisation dedicated to supporting WA carers. They offer a range of services to WA carers including access to free counselling and events.
- Young Carers WA is a support services for siblings of children with disability. They offer free counselling and events to members.
- Carer Gateway is an Australian Government initiative that provides information about respite options, financial assistance and counselling for carers.
- My Time offer peer support opportunities for families raising children with developmental delay and/or disability.
- Developmental Disability WA have some helpful resources for families raising children with disability.
- Positive Partnerships is an Australian govenment initiative to improve education outcomes for children with autism by assisting families and school staff to work together. The website provides a number of helpful online learning modules for parents and teachers. They also offer face-to-face workshops for parents and school staff to facilitate collaboration.
- The autism pages on the Raising Children Network provide lots of information for parents and carers. The site contains practical information to assist families in making decisions about therapy options including ratings of the evidence for listed approaches, costs associated with the approach and time commitment.
- National Autism Center provides a free parent’s guide to Evidence-Based Practice and autism.
- The Association for Science in Autism Treatment provides useful summaries on interventions that are evidence based, require further research or have been found to be ineffective/not researched.
